  1. Preheat oven at 180 °C. Line baking tray with parchment paper..
  2. Sift the flour, cornflour and salt in a mixing bowl..
  3. Cream together butter and castor sugar in another bowl. Keep beating until the mixture is light and creamy..
  4. Add vanill extract and mix well..
  5. Now add dry ingredients (in 2 btches) into wet, scrapping down the bowl in between until well mixed. Gently bring the dough together. Do not knead..
  6. Shape the dough in 1 inch ball. Make indentation in the centre of cookie using your thumb or back of rounded 1/4 tsp..
  7. Fill it with jam. Do not overfill it..
  8. Bake for 13-15 minutes or just untill the edges are golden brown..
  9. Let it stand on cookie sheet for a minute and then transfer to cooling rack and cool completely..
