- It's 500 gm of Carrots.
- What You needis 1/4 of Beetroot (totally optional).

- It's 150 gm of Milk Powder or 250 gm Khoya (Mawa).
- What You needis 50 ml of Clarified butter (Desi Ghee).
- It's 4 of Green cardamom 4 or if using cardamom powder then 1/4 tsp.

Gajar ka Halwa instructions
- Wash, clean & grate the carrots. No need to grate them very finely..
- Add finely grated beetroot for a nice colour. Avoid it if you don’t like or if you have red carrots..
- Add milk, cook covered for 20 minutes..
- After 20 minutes add half of the clarified butter & cook for 2 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly..
- Gradually add milk powder & ensure that there are no lumps in the halwa..
- Add sugar & mix well. Now it would release some water.
- Stir it on medium/high heat till the halwa dries..
- Add the remaining clarified butter & mix well..
- Stir for 2 minutes on medium/high heat..
- Add cardamom powder & mix well..
- Add nuts of your choice & serve warm..
