Ingredients of Moong Dal Halwa
- It's 200 gm of Moong dal yellow.
- It's 150 ml of Ghee.
- It's of Water200ml.
- Lets Go Prepare 200 ml of milk.
- It's 200 gm of Sugar.
- What You needis 1 tsp of Elaichi pdr.
- Lets Go Prepare of Almonds pieces 2tbs.
- Lets Go Prepare of Cashew nuts 5-6 cut into pieces.
Moong Dal Halwa step by step
- Soak moong dal for overnight. Take out water in the morning.Grind it coarse in texture..
- Take ghee in a non stick pan and add dal.Start frying on medium heat..
- On other side boil milk,water and sugar together. After 15 mts When dal is half fried add milk into it..
- Continue frying till whole milk is absorbed..
- Continue frying halwa.When it becomes smooth and ghee starts oozing out,switch off the gas..
- Add elaichi pdr and small pieces of cashews and almonds..
- Hot halwa is ready to serve..
